Obviously not as impressive as the rice terraces of Banaue but still worth a visit.
You can walk through the rice fields and chill on the neighbouring hills.
Very nice spot for photography and have fun with your drone (if you have one).
Only con really, some old lady will try her luck and ask for an entrance fee. Keep in mind this is a public area tree of charge.

Nice place to visit here, people are so friendly here. We took alot of pictures here. We enjoy our visit here but only short because we must drive going home in Panglao. Amazing trip!!!

It is true that these rice terraces are not quite as spectacular as those that I have seen in Bali, but these were still definitely up there. The drive from Panglao does take around 2-2.5 hours, but as others have commented - the scenery on-route makes it that much more enjoyable. Once you turn off the main road and take the road up the hill, you are instantly slowed down due to the poor road surface which is where the majority of your journey time is spent! But again, the sights on the way make-up for this. When you reach the top, your driver will be told to stop as you are only allowed to carry on by taking a local motorbike, which costs 100 pesos and is easily worth it for their expertise to navigate through the pot holes in the road and the steep hills that you have to go up and down......I had to close my eyes for some of it! I was dropped at the waterfall first, which was very pretty and peaceful and nice to see, but definitely not as impressive as others I've seen. We then went onto the rice terraces and I was told that I could stay on the private property to take photo's or hike a short distance to the other side of the mountain - however as it was such a hot day and I chose to just take pictures from the private property. Indeed there is an old lady there who will charge you 25 pesos just to be there and she does conveniently seem to run out of the correct change when you buy a drink, but honestly I was only too happy to pay extra. She spent nearly an hour with me talking through the grounds and taking me around her 'hotel' and private pool and the work that they do on the private gardens around the rice terraces is spectacular, so for me it was worth the money - essentially I just paid another 100 pesos to her for my drink and her company! I was only too happy to sit there for a while and soak in the view. It was so peaceful and relaxing and such a beautiful sight. I would definitely stop by again.

Very photographic place and surly worth a visit. It’s on private property so you need to pay a little fee. But be aware of the old lady in the restaurant - she will rip you off. She does never have enough change (turned out it was a lie). The restaurant is not good but overpriced and you have to pay for everything in addition - she will charge you even for sitting at a table.
If you just go there for your pictures you will not regret, but avoid the restaurant.

The rice fields here are as nice as the world heritage sites I've visited in Bali but with nary another tourist to be seen. The terraces are perfect for photographic purposes with frames of rounded hills or jagged mountains and many fields fringed by coconut palms or old-style wooden houses.
On our drive to the village we passed bullocks, goats, turkeys, chickens, a flock of waddling ducks, pigs and many many happy smiling locals.
This really is a marvellous place, but if you're coming from Panglao (as we did) or Tagbilaran I would recommend making a very early start and beginning your return journey before 2.30pm as it can take 3 hours to get home and the coast road is very tricky after dark (a lot of bicycles and motorbikes and pedestrians on the road with no lights) and you need to go very slowly.

along the road and about ten kilometers stretch magnificent rice terraces ... you also have to take small paths on the right and hard on the left to have different points of view! less spectacular than that of Banaue and sagada but really very very interesting at the end there is a very very beautiful waterfalls where UNFORTUNATELY the rain, that day was starting to fall we could see most of the waterfalls of Bohol with some superb natural pools and nice blue waters!

We took an afternoon trip from Anda Beach, up through the rolling hills to see the amazing rice terraces. We parked at the top and then walked down through the jungle (512 steps!) to swim i the Can-umantad Falls - well worth the trip.

The rice terraces was on the way to Can-Umantad Falls. It was not as instagram-worthy as we would like it to be cos the farmers just harvested the rice. But the vastness was admirable. The road going here is not yet fully constructed. We could have skipped this had we known the trip would be about 20 minutes of rough road. Good thing we were not crowded in the van.

Travelled all the way here from Panglao and it is worth it. Off road experience using a motorbike as the road there is rocky and muddy due to the weather condition at the time we went. Have to pay entrance and parking fee because the land I believe is a private one (Eleuterio's). The scenery though is breathtaking and is definitely worth going. Can also go to Canumantad falls after
