Went here in August 16 with my wife and mother in law. They both loved the costume museum. Lovely day out. The guide in the house was very nice and informative and was very helpful to my mother in law who can't walk for to long so she provided her with a chair to sit on in each room which... More

Decided as a treat for the grandchildren to take them to Springhill House. On arrival we paid admission which also included entrance to the house we enjoyed a picnic in the grounds while the children played about. We then had a tour of the house with the guide Hannah who was very knowledgeable on the history of the house, added... More

I cannot believe that I had never visited this wonderful house and estate before and yet I only live about 30 miles from it. Had always intended to visit the Costume Museum but in actual fact, whilst the costumes were really eye catching and interesting it was the house which I found fascinating. Totally brought to life by a wonderful... More

We were very taken with this small estate which is welcoming and relaxing and on a very accessible scale. The staff in the visitor centre/tea room in the barn could not have been friendlier and more helpful. How all customer service staff should be! There's only a limited menu on offer but it included very good soup and scones! The... More

A warm welcome from the staff and helpfulness beyond job description. Cafe was short on choices but huge on attention and response to request on extra plates, cake forks, napkins to share our delicious carrot cake and scone. Arranged tour of house was relaxed and informative with young lady carrying a chair to each room for our amazing 90 year... More

Unfortunately we arrived too late for the house tour, but the staff were very helful and told us about the other things we could see. We set off for a walk round the gardens and were very impressed. The house itself, and the outbuildings are beautifully set within the grounds. We had a long walk around the grounds and looked... More

My wife and I discovered Springhill by accident. Despite being National Trust members we'd never heard of it. We passed it and decided to call in on the spur of the moment. The Stunning grounds and out buildings are the setting for the beautiful jewel in the crown that is the main house. Guided tour was fantastic and the staff... More

Whenever you look at the front of the house you know your looking at something really special! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There is a book shop, small gift shop and a tea shop. We got some take away hot chocolate for the kids in the barn entrance and they said it was really good. There is a Costume... More
