We stopped by on a whim and the tour was an unexpected pleasure. Our tour guide, Robin, shared the story of the family, the era and the history with passion and joy. For an authentic look at the Creole life we would highly recommend a...More

I had done a lot of research and found this plantation to be one of the few where slave quarters had been kept intact. As a teacher and scholar, I cannot recommend heartily enough this place and the tour. Our guide was interesting and honest...More

We really loved this. What drew us were intact slave quarters so you could really get a sense of true history. This plantation has its own oak alley that rivals the more famous plantation. Our guide was so informed and passionate about this plantation, creole,...More

The tour hours are set, so it takes a little planning. However, I'd add it to the must see list. Movie fans will recognize it (reason my husband wanted to stop so much), but I'm glad we were able to make a tour. It is...More
