For us, this place was once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were advised that the hot springs were accessible for 2 hours either side of low tide. We arrived 4 hours before low tide, on a weekday, and even then the car park was starting to fill up....More

Very interesting beach. Lots of people so need to try and get a good spot early. Also note the water is really, really hot so need to check areas first particularly with little kids.

We didn't spend a huge amount of time there, but we were so glad we visited. What an amazing phenomena. The water in some parts was too hot to touch, whereas others barely felt warm. I think it's a matter of luck getting the right...More

It's an unique place to visit. You should check the low tide time and then visit this place, otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the hot water. There is a good parking facility and showers are also available near parking area.

Well worth visiting just to see the hot water come up through the sand, and it is hot! Get a spade a dig your own pool or simply walk along the rest of the beach to get away from the crowds.

By time you pay to rent a shovel and trek across a stream and beach to get to pools are.....you are expecting something special! Be careful not to scald your feet! Some pools when just dug are dangerously hot! Can be somewhat crowded with tourists.

Grab yourself a shovel or just head out to the beach until you reach the hot springs. You can feel the heat under your feet so be careful as in some parts you can get burnt from the hot water. This is great in all...More

Not really sure. Different beaches have different rules. Have never seen a dog there but best to check the web-site.
