Very nice campus to walk around and explore. The visitor center has metered parking and is rather central so a good place to start if you are a tourist. If you go by the stadium, be sure to visit Mike the Tiger in his enclosure.

As a former student, LSU is a great spot for exploration as a tourist. The Middleton Library is a wonderful place with exhibits that change year round. Also there is a museum with an extensive bug collection, and a REAL tiger in a habitat (new addition soon). Do not miss the LSU Dairy Science Ice Cream Store.

To me the most beautiful campus ever! Beautiful trees with moss hanging are throughout campus. There are several lakes that are around the campus as well. Historical Indian mounds. Old as well as new buildings and the ever present landmark clock tower that tolls the hour for all to hear all over campus.

If you like ice cream, make sure you visit the ice cream store. It's made right there on campus and features Geaux Tigers-themed flavors. Like all campuses, take your parking seriously, unless you're in somebody else's car. The center of campus around the student union has plenty of trees and shade, and is quite beautiful. Near the stadium, you'll find... More

LSU is a truly beautiful campus. This university is huge so it's pretty easy to get lost on the side streets and admittedly even in the parking lot. The law school is also historic and its magnificent and splendid as well. The library is huge and they have food spots, coffee shops, novelty shops, book stores including Barnes and Nobles... More

The LSU campus is vibrant academic setting. The campus has a lot of green space that is well landscaped which make it a good walking campus for a visit. I like the lawn area in front of Middleton Library and the one in front of the Law Center. You can also visit the athletic area where the Maravich Center and... More

As a graduate of this venerable institution (M.Mus., '65), I have a long relationship with the educational program as well as being a faithful athletics fan. After a lengthy hiatus in Florida, my wife and I returned and retired to Baton Rouge. We are now experiencing LSU in a new and revealing way. We have acted as tourists and guides... More

Since my father was a college professor, I have been around campuses all of my life. I enjoyed walking around the LSU campus. The bell tower, the Law School, the Horseshoe, and all of the oak groves around campus (as a memorial for fallen LSU military members) made it very distinctive in nature. There are a lot of places to... More
