This was our second time to this winery. I am still in shock from finding a winery in this area. This used to be a "dry" county (no alcohol served or sold). The wine is good. We liked the apple best. The facility could be spruced up some. The people that work there are super! We will be back next... More

We live about 1 1/2 hour drive from Renfro Valley. We had tickets for the 8:30 show. My wife saw on the internet the winery was close by. With the scattered showers coming and going we were wondering should we have planned on visiting the winery. When we saw the building down from the road with only 1 car we... More

I plugged the address into my GPS and when we arrived I was surprised. We planned on visiting here during our trip and we drove right by it a day earlier when we were driving to our place to stay the night. It does not look like the typical winery I have visited in the past. It was in a... More

This was the second stop for us on the KY Wine Trail. The winery is in an older, rather rundown building off the main highway. Easy to find, but nothing about the location says quaint winery. We tasted several wines, and again found that red wines are not GREAT in KY. but we did like the semi-sweet concord Nouveau Red,... More

Sinking Valley's tasting room is easy to miss to be on the look out. The good news is if you pass it, there is a road just past it you can take and drive into the parking lot from the backside. We met one of the owners and see signed our book, "Wine-ing Your Way Across Kentucky" for us. We... More

Today was the first time we stopped at Sinking Valley for a wine tasting. We have drove past it before seeing the signs for Peach City on Hwy 461. The lady that served us was super nice, and seemed to know the wines well. We left with four bottles. I really liked the prohibition repel red. It is not a... More

Wonderful winery and the owner was so helpful. She let us taste anything we wanted. If you are near Somerset please make the drive. The only problem is that TripAdvisor has the wrong address. It is located right on Hwy 461. I told the owner she needed to change address on TA and she said she had tried many times... More

We drove from Corbin to get out and sight see a little and decided to drive out to this winery. The lady inside was awesome. She let us sample anything we wanted to and was knowledgeable about all of her wines. Wine is VERY reasonably priced and we each left with 3 bottles. If there was a little better scenery,... More

If you ever travel south on 461 going from Mt. Vernon to Somerset, be sure to check this place out. Look for the signs. They have a testing room for wine lovers. Very friendly, good hospitality and very very good wine. All good wishes, Cyndi Kelley
