If you are visiting Paducah and come down town, you should take a few minutes and visit the Paducah Riverwalk. It not overly fancy or anything, but it is a nice place to come and bring your lunch for a relaxing lunch. You are right on the edge of the Ohio river, so you can watch the traffic on the... More

The Riverwalk is in front of the beautiful painted murals. It's a nice peaceful place to see the Ohio River.

After visiting the American Quilt Museum, we spent a couple of hours walking around the historic area be the river. There are lots of shops and restaurants in buildings that are 100-150 years old.

A most peaceful place to walk along the river. You see the Ohio and Tennessee converge. One is muddy, one clear and they continue in a river muddy on one side but. Lead on the other. The history of this town revolves around the river, so you must see it to understand Paducah

This is perfect for a stroll. A day where you want to slow down, take in the view, and just do something different.

Great views across the river and to where the Ohio river splits from the Tennessee River, but also some great information posts along this walk that is very informative. Well worth a walk and as i was there on a sunny day even better.

Paducah has one of the most beautiful flood walls with murals. Walking behind these walls you are able to just relax and enjoy the scenes of boats or barges on the Ohio river. The city takes pride and keeps the area very clean. Any time I am close to downtown I have to go visit to see what is going... More

The flood wall has been painted to express the history of Paducah at many different times.. It shows the images of Alben Barkley and Irving Cobb who were very influential mean in the history of Paducah. The gaseous diffusion plant is also shown in one of the murals. I was born and raised here and I still love to go... More

Have visited in the summer also. Interesting to see the murals and watch river traffic when possible. We had a warm day on our visit which enabled us to walk part of the river walk. Very enjoyable.

Paducah has made its riverfront very walkable with lots of spots for taking a break and just watching barges pass. We were there before the pleasure boating season began, but I can imagine the riverfront is really alive come summer.
