Unlike days of old this was really ok to try. The moonshine was flavors from peach to chocolate. The taste will not make you go blind! It is well done and there is an antique store next door! I actually liked the peach!

Although technically this is a new distillery (officially opened in 2014), the family that runs it claims a century-plus long tradition of producing bootlegged whiskey. The history of moonshine, as described by the host is quite entertaining, with glimpses of historical figures, ample demonstration of...More

Interesting visit. Staff was very congenial. Free tasting was a surprise. A nice little place off the beaten path that will not take a lot of time out of your day but worth the visit.

Nice little museum of old stills. Tours are available. Tastings offered of various types and flavors of moonshine. Nice tshirts available to purchase. Hubby bought a bottle of single barrel and one that tasted like cinnamon red hots.
