Surprised that quilts could look exactly like artwork. Used to the traditional ones. Was $13 for seniors and took us about an hour. Spent more time at some than others. Beautiful artistry.

Lots of impressive art. But as others have mentioned, I was extremely disappointed. There were no historic, antique or vintage quilts. While I appreciate the talent to design and assemble these art quilts, I wanted to see MUSEUM quilts!

I was disappointed there were no historical or traditional quilts. More of a gallery than a museum. Lovely examples of contemporary fabric art, tho.

Amazing art quilts! The skill and talent shown is mind - boggling! I was, however, quite surprised there were no antique or traditional quilts. I would have LOVED to see examples of quilts as they pertain to local history.

It's a beautiful place filled with some of the most gorgeous quilts I've ever seen. Presentation, lighting, and information plaques were all well done. The docents were passionate about the pieces and offered helpful information. There were family groups and avid quilters in attendance. Fun to see all age groups enjoying the exhibits.
I was surprised with the Gift Shop: huge variety of high-quality items at all price points.
Note: We planned 2-3 hours for our visit. It was not enough time.

Inspirational. If you are a quilter, allow at least 2 hours to fully examine all the quilts. Seats where you can see quilts. small gift shop, no cafe.

I’ve always wanted to attend this museum and it didn’t disappoint. I loved reading about the two featured quilters and marveled at the quilts

As a quilter this is one of the places that I have always wanted to visit. I enjoyed the multiple exhibits in the space and walking around in downtown Paducah. The staff was very nice. The space is open and spacious enough that on most days you won't really have a too many spectators problem to be able to see all the art on the walls. Loved the mini exhibit and the wood quilt( the nerd in me found the story behind this one to be fascinating.

I have to admit that if given the option of joining my wife and family to visit this museum or going to the dentist, I would have gladly had a tooth drilled! What a mistake that would have been! Within a few minutes of viewing these quilts I was totally mesmerized.
I think we spent at least 2 hours here and I didn't want to leave! A lady volunteer answered our many questions very knowledgeably and added to our experience.
If you visit Paducah you must visit this museum. Definitely worth the effort!
