The quilts displayed in the core section of the museum are wonderful examples of detailed quilting skills. These are all modern quilts with modern patterns and new twists on quilting. (There's even a lighted quilt and a wooden quilt that looks like a fabric one)....More

All three of us--couple and adult son--thoroughly enjoyed this fine museum, even though my wife is the one most interested in quilts. Beautiful, well organized, appealing.

All contemporary quilts - earliest 1989. I was expecting classic quilts, but found the most fantastic modern take on quilts. So many techniques I've never seen before. Quilting is expressed as an art form.

It is about art first, then quilts. Appeals to anyone who appreciates art. No photography allowed, which was certainly understandable, but sad for my photo album, since this was a highlight of my trip. It's a beautiful gallery. There are docents here and there who...More

My wife has done some quilts. It was interesting to see the quilts as pieces of art. The front desk and gallery staff were not overly friendly however. Seniors tickets were $10 a piece not $11. They have two special exhibits going on beside the...More

Beautiful works of art with a wide range of creative designs. I loved the three competition quilts! So much detail. But such a variety of storytelling in each piece also. Get the tour guide. It’s definitely worth the extra dollar.

We have a truck and RV parking lot on second street behind the museum. As long as there are places available you should be fine. RV's park back there every day.
