This is a nice spot for a walk through the woods. It used to have lovely covered bridges but they've been replaced with plain concrete bridges. Still nice, but not as charming as in years past.

Love visiting the pioneer village! The spray park is good place for little ones and pretty good playground equipment. The walking trails are well marked and pretty shady for the most part. Parking is plentiful.

Lovely public park with natural creeks and ponds. Also, hiking/walking trails and disc golf are available free of charge. This is the official home of ROMP and an Owensboro treasure.

The walking trails are well maintained and this park has 27 holes of disc golf. A nice park to go to if you don't care for the crowds at smothers park.

Several trails in the woods. A creek. Baseball fields. Spray park. Playgrounds. A lake. A “village” with some old buildings. A frisbee golf. nice place to spend a few hours or a day. And the River of Music Party (ROMP) is held there every year.

Yellow Creek is a world of its own. I can remember countless trips there just spent playing Narnia with my sisters when we were children, hiking the trails and running around on the playground. One of the most scenic gems in the Owensboro area.

A birthday celebration for great niece! My niece had it at one of the shelters at Yellow Creek Park. Ample space, right by the children's playground and water park. Clean facility and kid friendly.

We've been going to Yellow Creek Park for years for our annual family reunion. It has something to do for all ages and is always clean and well-maintained. What a gem!
