This was one of the coolest playground parks I have ever seen. It was nice and clean. It was the kids favorite thing about our recent trip. Super family friendly place to visit! Great job Owensboro!

My wife and I walked through Smothers park after lunch. It is the nicest city park I've ever seen! A fantastic place if you have kids or just want to enjoy the view. The way a river front should be developed.

They are currently active, running into the late fall, depending on weather.
The website says consessions 8 am 11 pm. What kind of consessions and where?

I'm answering my own ? I called # on smothers website...consessions are 11am-8pm at the park during dates on website. They have corndogs, hotdogs, chips, nacos, icecream... so enjoy.
