What a tribute!

Jam-packed with memorabilia and stories. I regret I didn't go sooner, to get a better understanding of struggles in the past and the things Ali did to inspire change.

I went to sleep thinking that "tomorrow" I'm going to the Muhammad Ali Center - FINALLY. Only to wake up and hear on the news that he had died the day before. Well, it was CROWDED but every one got in free. It will take you four hours to "just look". This is the most diverse set of exhibits you... More

I expected the Muhammed Ali Center to be a respectable tribute to the great boxer, but I wasn't prepared for the modern, interactive, multi-level center that captured the essence of the man from his early childhood through his Olympian glory and heavy-weight championships to his battle with Parkinson's. Visitors are exposed to an overview of the champ in an excellent... More

What a wonderful tribute to Muhammad Ali. 5 floors of memories and honoring him. The movie to start was inspiring to see all he achieved and what a wonderful life he had. You could spend all day there.

You enter a building with a very quiet exterior and an entire world about Mohammed Ali opens to you. The very beginning of the tour begins with a movie and you go back in time. A very profound look at our world and how strong all of the people in his life were. How creative he was. How loving to... More

I attend the Center for a work function but we were allowed to walk around the museum at the end of our conference. It's stunning, perfectly situated on the Ohio River with amazing river views, and a tremendous homage to Muhammad Ali...the boxer, athlete, advocate, human rights champion...and Louisville's own.

Muhammad Ali defeated every top heavyweight in his era, which has been called the golden age of heavyweight boxing. In this beautiful museum, we learned and experience all his glory for generations to come. Ali had a highly unorthodox boxing style for a heavyweight, epitomized by his catchphrase "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee". It was his moves... More

Family wanted to see how the tribute to greatest of all time was and was very nice and informative, a lot of items to read would recommend them to have more interactive stations for the kids they like the few they had but overall nice tribute.

My husband and I explored the MAC this weekend during our visit to Louisville. It provides a mix of short films, interactive activities and art exhibits. You can learn about his journey into boxing, the obstacles he overcame during his career and the humanitarian efforts he championed. We left there with a deeper understanding of who Ali was as a...
