    Surprised and High tech
We went into this tour with little expectations and came out extremely pleased! First the entrance and front lobby are neat with the giant bourbon glass water feature. The staff was nice and our tour guide Cheryl was wonderful. She was funny, informative, and just down to earth nice! She made the whole tour fun. I really enjoyed the high tech side of this tour. The history projection movies and the way they deigned the tour was incredible! I wasn’t expecting to see such a high tech and yet historic tour. The upstairs is decorated like old streets back in the day and the bar set up for the Tasting is very unique. One of my favorite parts is knowing some of the offerings you try are exclusively for the tour and not sold in stores. This tour was also one of the cheaper stops and well worth while. You will not regret this stop! Don’t forget your passport!!

    Speakeasy experience!
We had the Speakeasy experience and we highly recommend it. Jake played a bartender from prohibition times and stayed in character which make the experience very unique and fun. The Speakeasy setting was very cool with an oval bar and lots of historical photos on the wall. It was a very enjoyable and fun tasting. Make sure to visit the bar on the 3rd floor. Drinks are delicious.

    Steeped with history
The tour at Evan Williams reminded me of a historical documentary. Much of the information was imported by an audio visual mode. It was very informative, and gave all the historical perspective of the bourbon industry. I loved their display of old bottles and and the big flowing fountain by the front door.

    Great bourbon tour
Had a great time at the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience during a recent weekend trip to Louisville. Evan Williams makes the most of what I thought would be a cramped space on the main bourbon drag in Louisville. I walked away with a good perspective on Louisville’s great bourbon history. Although the Evan Williams portrait looks suspiciously like the actor in the filmed bits on the tour, the effect overall is informative, fun and you get to try some amazing bourbon while led by a knowledgable guide in a historic location. Recommended.

Short but informative tour and tasting
We had a limited amount of time for touring on this trip so this one-hour tour was perfect. It included a short film, an engaging and informative tour guide, and a fun tasting experience. When you don't have time to see a large distillery, this one is perfect!

First Stop for Bourbon Tour - Very Well Done! Great Guide
We really enjoyed this experience / tour. It is really well done ! Very Educational on the History Aspect and then Bourbon tasting. Since EW held the first official distillery we figured it was the Best to start the tour there and it was the right decision for sure ! Our guide was Great ! (Don’t remember name) older Gentleman that was very funny and had the best Louisville pronunciation! We really enjoyed the Red Label and did end up buying the bottle since it can ONLY be bought by guests that took the tour. It’s a Great Souvenir form a Great Experience ! Great Job EW!

    Great experience!
We had a great time at Evan Williams! It was a fun tour that followed by a nice tasting of pours you cannot purchase anywhere else. I thought their selection of tasting pours was a nice touch, things you generally cannot purchase outside of the distillery was a nice touch. A bit gimmicky for sure, but overall a great experiences

    Stop over in Louisville
Dianne was so nice to let us join the last tour a few minutes late. Sarah was our guide. She was great. Her enthusiasm was contagious. Loved her extensive knowledge on bourbon and the Evan Williams brand. Glad we made the stop.

I’m not a bourbon fan and this was still really fun!
I’m not a bourbon fan and this was still really fun! I enjoyed learning the history of the city’s staple spirit. It was interactive and our guide was a pleasure. This was well worth the ticket price and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I spilled some of the tasting and they were so gracious and kind about it. The giant bourbon glass in front is fun, as are the people working the front desk.

    Great Tour Experience
Went to the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience over my spring break on a trip to Louisville. We really enjoyed the experience, and had a great tour guide (Bill). I thought the tour did a good job of incorporating some of the history of Louisville as well as where Evan Williams fit in the bourbon industry. Great experience, worth the time and money.

We did the Ideal Bartender Experience. This was our first tour upon arriving in Kentucky. Highly recommend this tour as a great introduction to the history of bourbon. Great sample selection, learnt how to make an original Old Fashioned, very informative and entertaining.

The tour was pretty nice. We were lead into a room that started off with a video and then walked through the building with staged areas, not the actual distillery. Honestly, I have to give kudos to this because it was unlike any other tour we did. I liked the videos and also the cool AC. The bar was pretty nice and the gift shop was nice.
