This guided tour opens up the rich history of early Louisville. This house is without equal. The guide was very well educated in the complete history of not only the home and its prior occupants, but even practically every piece of furniture.

This historic house is very beautiful. Most of the artifacts within are original to the families that contributed to this historic beauty. The grounds are magnificent. If I lived there, I would make it a daily routine to spend an hour or two just sitting or walking through the fern forest. The birds were singing, the little resident rabbits were... More

We came on a quiet weekday and had a terrific tour with Betty. Her knowledge and enthusiasm added greatly to our visit. The house is gorgeous, which would explain how often weddings and other events take place there.

My daughter chose Whitehall for her December 27th, wedding and it was the perfect location. Anne (from Whitehall) was wonderful to work with and made it easy to navigate any potential concerns. The sheer beauty of Whitehall made it unnecessary to add a lot of decoration as we benefited from the Christmas decor. The valet was excellent, especially with the... More

We only viewed the gardens. They were ok at best. We didn't want to pay to see the house after viewing the gardens thinks it would be a waste of money.

I have been to several events at this lovely old home. It's charming old fashioned appeal is a pleasant change from the colder contemporary styles seen most places today.

We have been there for a wedding reception. It is a lovely southern antebellum home. A great example of the south when houses were huge and farms were being developed.the gardens are lovely and very we'll kept. A lot of native plants to our state.
