Wonderful and free place to walk along the river. You can see the bridges and boats that are sailing across the river. We visited early on a Sunday morning while were were waiting for the Derby Museum to open and it wasn't crowded at all....More

We went to this park with our 1.5 year old daughter. We wanted to take her to the water fountain play area. Our hotel told us we could just walk to the park, that is wasn't far. So that is what we did. This park...More

We walked around the park on our last night. The park is very clean, and well-maintained. There are many water features that add to the aesthetic appeal to the park. I really enjoyed the park.

Nothing like a little folk music on the banks of the Ohio River! Boy, what a wonderful atmosphere for a folk concert! Not only that, but I thought the park was very clean and safe. I've never seen a major highway run through a park...More

This park was very dirty, littered with trash, many unsupervised children. Our son wouldn't even play due to the chaos. Will not be going back.

Waterfront park is a nice place to take a break downtown and enjoy the view of some green space (the grass and, unfortunately, sometimes the river). From the park you get a good view of all of our bridges, southern Indiana and "spaghetti junction" right...More

There are a couple of restaurants. Joe's Crab shack comes to mind. But I don't believe there is outdoor seating and dog friendly. If you go up a few blocks off of the river, there are up around Main street.
