The maps make it easy to know where you want to go, the kids enjoyed the camel ride ($5.00), there were lots of photo opportunities and, if we'd planned better, we could have seen several animal "shows."

I love going to this zoo, it's smaller than some, but it's still enough to keep someone entertained for a full day, me and my friends arrived at 12 and we left at 5 when They closed. In the past when we've went a lot of the animals haven't been out, but that's because of the weather or renovations to... More

The animals looked I'll in some parts. There didn't seem to be alot of room for them. The people were friendly but my son who's five thought all the animals looked very sad.

The zoo is a good size for spending a morning or afternoon. It is clean and tidy. We enjoyed the seals and sea lion talk. They offer a variety of animal talks and provide visitors a list of times and places for the various talks throughout the day.

We are avid supporters of conservation and education, so when in town for work/spring break we made it a point to stop by the zoo. The help at the gate was new and unsure how reciprocity membership worked, but her colleagues helped her out and we saved a bit of money on the way. If wasn't a sunny/warm day, but... More

Louisville zoo is in my opinion too worried about making money. They overcharge for everything. I understand it takes money to run the place, but it never seems worth it. Half of the animals are always put up so kids waste time looking for them only to be disappointed. I think I will drive to the Cincinnati zoo next time,... More

The day I went in April I didn't see many animals. Was disappointed but I was able to get exercise in for the day.

Quick day trip there. Small crowds due to time of year I suppose. Everything was very nice, but a lot of the warmer climate animal displays were either not open yet, or the animals were staying warm somewhere. Defiantly an all day event.

I visited the Louisville Zoo with my son's, 11 and 8, during their spring break from school. It was ridiculously crowded as expected, but unfortunately there were numerous exhibits closed. I thought it was ridiculous considering this is their busiest time of year.
