Iroquois Park is a beautiful park with friendly people. There are so many things to do there. There's several playgrounds, a lovely golf course, the top of the park has lots of hiking trails and from the top you can see the whole city or Louisville. It's a fantastic view! There's a water park for the kids and big ones... More

We have two young children, live nearby, and we love Iroquois park! We enjoy the playground year round and the splash pad during summer months. The walking/ biking loop (approx. 3 miles long) can't be beat! The playground gets crowded on the weekend, so we usually try to go during the week days or early in the morning when we... More

We love the variety of performances offered by the amphitheater located in the park. In the Fall the Iroquois Park host the most amazing display of carved pumpkins. There are wonderful hiking trails and horseback riding trails. A golf coarse is also open to the public.

I run here frequently with my dog since there is a nice loop and little traffic. It's beautiful and quiet during the week.

Our two reasons for visiting in November - the Urban Bourbon Trail and the Jack O'Lantern Spectacular - which was beyond impressive - so many designs with amazing detail. You must visit!

Iroquois Park is an excellent location to train for biking or running. There are several great hills that build endurance. Running around the bottom is a good 3 mile workout, adding a trip to the top and back results in a great 7 mile run.

I visited this park many times growing up in Louisville. Though I always appreciated the long trails, numerous basketball ahs tennis courts, and challenging municipal golf course, I never understood the beauty of this Olmsted designed masterpiece. Looking at this park on Google Earth is deceptive in that it isn't extraordinarily impressive in scale. While hiking the numerous paths or... More

Can not express how awesome the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular was at Iroquois Park. We went Nov 1 and there were no crowds. It was absolutely fantastic. There are concessions, bar, bathrooms. This is a must see experience and worth the drive from Nashville, TN. That had to have been more than 5,000 Jack-O-Lanterns. These are works of Art for sure. Great... More
