Located on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park. This museum was filled with interesting and interactive displays that reflect the significant role the Saddlebred played in America's history. There are many hands-on activities and short, informational films about these amazing horses. We left with a new appreciation and understanding of this fine breed.

Co-located in the Kentucky Horse Place, it was much weaker than the other museums there. The place can be very noisy, distracting if you are trying to follow the video displays. It recognizes the great contributions of black trainers and showman, but this display is easily overlooked.

I went one time years ago and would not recommend buying a ticket. Now if you go to the Kentucky Horse Park, you usually get a free ticket. It is still not worth it unless you like Saddlebreds.

This is a great exhibit that is a companion to the Kentucky Horse Park. It is located on the right side of the parking lot for the Park. Admission is included in the Park ticket. This horse museum is artifact filled tribute to the horse. Take the time to see it after you are done with the Park. You will... More

Nice museum, if you like history and horses, but then again if you did not like either, why did you go here? I was here for a special exhibit and it was very nice, although the security people watch you like you are going to steal something, That part I could had done with out, but still, they are just... LOVED the American Saddlebred Museum! It was included as a part of the ticket price to the Kentucky Horse Park which was a nice surprise. I had my two kids with me and they had a ball in the children's section. Tons of interactive things for them to do. They both rode life size rocking horses, answered trivia questions on... More

This was a cute museum after visiting the Kentucky horse park. Lots of photos, trophies, a film area, and children's exploration room.

It was worth a brief visit in conjunction with the Kentucky Horse Park but not a special trip to see.

I visited during the off season late in the day so I did not have to pay admission. This museum, although rather small, is very well done and covers the history of this beautiful Kentucky horse and also some of the many trainers who made them great. They have a section for the kids which includes large saddlebred rocking horses... More
