Great artifacts, great hands-on activities that are are unique. Ride a saddlebred via green screen! You don't need a lot of time, but don't miss it especially in the less optimal weather (all indoors).

Great place to take kids, and the adults learn, too. Got a rainy day? Perfect place. There's even a storm shelter at the horse park, so no matter what the weather, you can enjoy the day!

This is a wonderful museum. You will see how horses were first transported on ships. The many events that they are well known for. There are interactive panels, and a thorough history of the breeding that produced the American Saddlebred. Quite a museum!!

Co-located in the Kentucky Horse Place, it was much weaker than the other museums there. The place can be very noisy, distracting if you are trying to follow the video displays. It recognizes the great contributions of black trainers and showman, but this display is...More
