Visited Ky Down Under. We had a great time. My grandson loved the kangaroos.
We especially enjoyed Uncle Billy and his kangaroos. How to go back and visit next year. Hope to see Uncle Billy there. Thoroughly enjoyed him and his knowledge on them.
Get up close with kangaroos! Such a special and unforgettable experience! We got to go inside a pen full of kangaroos and interact with them. They are very tame. We purchased food (you can enter pen without purchasing food) and once inside pen, the kangaroos...More
I will take touching and playing with animals over watching them from a fence any day. We were able to freely pet and play with a whole herd of kangaroos. There were also friendly Lorikeets and a petting zoo of barnyard animals. The cave tour...More
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ky Down Under. All of the staff were very friendly & knowledgeable. I recently hurt my knee & they have golf carts to rent. Yay! The park is hilly & (I think they said) about a 3 mile walk....More
It was totally worth the price to interact with the kangaroos and emus!! They are so fun to feed! The lory birds were cool to feed too, but a little intense (especially for little kids). The entire place was very hilly, so bring water!
My husband and soon to be three year old took a long weekend to explore Cave City and its surrounding areas. We headed to Kentucky Down Under and had a good experience. The tour of Onyx Cave that is included with ticket purchase was a...More
Nice little zoo that has a lot of up close animal encounters. You can feed the lories, and also feed and pet all of the outback animals. My kids loved feeding and petting all of the kangaroos. They even got to pet the shell of...More
Certainly a worthwhile visit to hang out with and pet Kangaroos, among other animals here. Very worthwhile to rent a golf cart if one has children, older folks, or people with bum knees (like myself). This made getting around a lot easier.

I've been twice and spent about 2 hours both times. It really depends on you. You can spend all day there, doesn't cost extra, once you pay you can also leave and come back. We left and ate and came back for the cave tour.
