We visited an early Monday morning and were the only adults (excluding a school group with chaperones). The re-enactors were fantastic and made sure we felt welcome. It was a fantastic experience and a great chance the see the fort as it would have been.

Enjoyed the history and the re-enactors. The cemetery was moving, the park and memorial were nice. It is great that this place exists to show us how our ancestors lived.

The fort is a reproduction of the 1774 fort originally on the site. It is staffed by costumed interpreters who show visitors what life was like 250 years ago on the frontier. There are several other sites of interest there, too. Lots to see and...More

It was interesting but as with most of these reconstructed forts it's not really very authentic. I think these places are much more interesting to kids but it's still worth a visit.

Walking around inside the Fort compound sure helps give a person some idea just how crude and rough life may have been. What I find even more interesting is how much our World and Life has changed in what is really a very short time...More

It was a hot day but exciting! Attack on Fort Harrod! $7 admission for adults, a lot of history! Also go check out The Spring when visiting, just down the street!
