After driving by many times, we finally stopped for a tour. Here is what you get for the $5 admission fee. A tour guide will take you into the parlor and tell you about the house. The history and what all is on the grounds for you to see. After the guide is done, you have free reign of the... More

We came here in 2010 for the Halloween events and we did the Haunted tour. Nothing was set up it was pure paranormal and a great tour! Mary Elizabeth wanted to play and a lot of things happened in our group. We came back in 2016 thinking it was just as good if not better than the last time. unfortunately... More

When my daughter moved to the area, my granddaughter insisted: "I HAVE to bring Uncle Roger (my brother) here, cause I KNOW he would love this place!". She is a teenager now & he drove down to KY with me when I wanted to see her... More

Went with some kids that needed something to do. It is an old house in the shape of an octogon. It has some history and is intresting, but it is not wel maintained and the owner is a bit of a nut. This place could be so much more if they cleaned it up and added some more activities. If... More

This place seems a little sketchy at first, but turns out to be a safe and interesting stop. The place is a little run-down, but the house's past involves quite a bit of history. It is only $5, so not a bad stop. I'm not into paranormal, but for those who are, they would probably find the stop well above... More

We were on our way home from a long vacation & I saw this house. I always wanted to see it, since I like civil war and ghost stories. Only $5 a person and self guided tour. Bill is full of information and his dog Gracie was so sweet following you around. There is alot of pictures on the wall... More

Octagon Hall was so interesting and Bill, the Executive Director, is one of the nicest people you could ever meet. What an enjoyable day my best friend and I had there!

After hearing the Orphan Brigade at a music venue in Nashville, we simply HAD to see Octagon Hall. It's worth the trip. The place a steeped in history and every room has its own history. The story of Mary is tragic and deserves time to pause and think. The only negative is the amount of smoking that takes place within... More
