We did not get there in time for a tour, but there was no need! All I needed to know was displayed in the glass cases in the candy store! The staff is attentive and kind - they will answer every question you have about their candies and make suggestions if you cannot decide. The bourbon balls are to die... More

Coming to visit from Mexico city... they have already a schedule tour.. 2 more couples arrived asking for the tour..they say the same thing... curious that they don't have a time for the tour.. and supposedly they made it depending on people coming in asking for it... by the way they have like 10 people in the front store... and... Did not know how the candy would taste with bourbon involved. I like bourbon but most alcohol-infused candies tend to taste artificial or overpowering. These do Not. The bourbon balls were delicious and and mint julep balls were very good too. They do not make candy on Saturdays and usually take lunch between 12-1 so plan your visit accordingly. Worth... More

Rebecca Ruth Candy is delicious and her story is amazing and inspiring. The shoppe is quite small, so the tour is very much like visiting a family member's kitchen. If you are looking for the big assembly line operation, you will be disappointed. If you love history and a walk back in time, you will love this tour.

They claim to be the originator of the Bourbon Ball; theirs are very good and come in three bourbon flavors. A pound of perfect bourbon balls is about $27. The Boo Boos have defects like cracked pecans or missing chocolate coating and are about $19 a pound but the taste is still 100%.

Be sure to ask to see the 12-foot curved marble table the founders first made candy on. Rebecca Ruth is the pride of Frankfort. Founded by two women in 1919, the business has gradually expanded, and now offers tours along with delicious chocolates. Try the bourbon balls, and the cherries soaked in bourbon, then dipped in chocolate. Meet Charles Booe.... More

Nice staff. They weren't producing candy when we went so that was disappointing. For $20.00 for a family of four tour I need more than an i pad with videos. Candy is fabulous! It is expensive. We laid down a $50.00 bill at this place. It is so so

Ok seriously...I have to control myself to visit only so often. If I visited as much as I wanted to I would be in a sugar comma. I love the bourbon candies but there is so much more. The salted caramels are amazing. I especially love the bourbon balls with pecans. Just writing this I am ready for my next... More

Rebecca Ruth has been here a long time offering a variety of chocolates and specializing in bourbon chocolates. The shop has a lot of historical items and is a good place to stop for some fresh sweets. There is a small parking lot adjacent, and a lot of street parking. And, the people working there are very nice.
