Freeman Lake park is a huge park in the middle of E-town. Nice looking park, but besides being a place to walk or paddle boat, there is not much to do there. The park is huge so there should be basketball courts, soccer fields, paddle boards for rent, volley ball courts and other outdoor activities to do. They dont even... More

There are walking paths all around the lake- seven miles! They also cater to the kids with duck feeding. Very lovely walk, especially in the Spring.

The lake is beautiful. You can rent canoes and paddle boats. It's a great place for picnics, playing on the playground, riding bikes and walking. Several times a year there is always something going on.

We like to picnic here. Also we like to feed the ducks. This is a great place to just relax and chill out and let the kids just play,

Went to the Christmas light show and it was so amazing. This is a small city but they blew out the Louisville mega caverns and a couple other drive through light shows I have been to on other states. And it was all for donations. No charge up front and no major lines to wait for. Just incredible. Take the... More

I played disc golf here on 2/17 after having not played here for a while. Come to find out they've ruined a chunk of the course by putting in a stupid, fence-offed, dog park which makes 2 holes unplayable. They've could picked plenty of other places to put the stupid thing, but no, they have to put it right smack... More

I have lived in Elizabethtown and the surrounding area for basically all my life, except for a few years in college. I have visited this part literally hundreds of times. I'm not sure how 'hard' it is actually marketed for tourism. It is a nice park to visit, but not really a 'destination,' to be honest. There are many ducks,... More
