Be ready to walk to find some amazing beaches, solitude and awesome 360 views, including Cabo Polonio. You could make it there (about two hours) and come back, we just hang out at the top of the dunes and then went down to the sea....More

This is a really small town in the Rocha department, near to cabo polonio.... it has just a few blocks and a craftfair almost in the middle of the town, people juggling in the "plaza" and very nice atmosphere, you have markets to buy food...More

The biggest sand dunes in South America, close to Barra de Valizas town. Walk around and see the ocean at your feet, or take a day for sand board there

the quiet beaches are beautiful but you can't miss the dunes. Wear a big hat, slide from the dunes and enjoy a different scenery. You can see a lot of marine animals too. Walk to Cabo Polonio if you are hot-resistant and relax, meditate,enjoy.

Hello, we have taken the beach walk to Cabo Polonio. We have seen smoe shipwreck (more like equipments, like a winch and some ropes), but not the actual hull. We went with no guide, on foot, and still the tour was amazing... More
