This is a great way to see a large waterfall without the hike! My older kids enjoyed hopping on rocks and exploring up above the falls and you only have to walk by the gift shop and down some stairs to get to the falls...More

I live nearby and I try to go every month, it's a beautiful waterfall and it has a decent gift shop. The park is pretty well maintained and you don't have to walk too too far to see the waterfall.

We rented a two bedroom cottage for a girls weekend. Our cottage was accessible so it may have been a bit larger than others. I found it to be roomy and clean, and it was just what we wanted. It is a bit on the...More

The park is amazing. There are plenty of trails and observation areas. The gift shop has a little bit of everything. There is plenty of parking and it’s a short walk to everything. The falls are spectacular. The scenery around the area is breath taking....More

The park is nice but be sure to take exit 25 off Interstate 75 for easier access. The falls are nice as is the area around it. The cottages were rustic but nice. The restaurant at the lodge is fair. The service and food selection...More

I wouldn't go too far out of the way to see these falls. There are way nicer waterfalls in this world. The park was nice, although most if the viewing platforms/ areas seemed to be blocked off. Maybe we just came during the off season,...More

This is one of my favorite Kentucky state parks (and I have been to all of them). The big appeal is Cumberland Falls which falls 68 feet in a wide curtain. There is also a beautiful lodge built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. The main...More

It was kinda hard to follow the directions to see the falls and we weren't there at an optimum time of the year but the water was sure rushing. The pathway could be a bit clearer for viewing. I understand wanting to leave it as...More

Beautiful falls that are easy to get to and see. Nothing like Niagara, but who cares!? If you are headed south it's not that far from the interstate and definitely worth the stop.

Went to Cumberland Falls resort Park when the water was high. At the base of the falls the amount of water that was flowing over was amazing. I would love to see it during the summertime. If you have a chance I would definitely visit...More

Seriously, The water is flowing way to fast. then soon the waterfalls. Now people do dip their feet in the water, but even that is not advisable.
