Great Falls!

Our guide, Hannah, was excellent! While the trip didn't have a lot of Level III rapids (the water was down), the ones we experienced were great. Had a great time!

Wanted to really like this place and had planned on many return visits while hiking however we were treated as though we were not a paying customer and we're treated like we were on somebody's property and we were somewhere we weren't supposed to be we had reserved our camp in prior to and bought several things in the store... We had a great time, and the staff was very helpful. The students had a great time rafting, that was the highlight of their three day trip. I would recommend the Adventure resort to anyone looking to get in the water, or folks who are just visiting for a few days.

We stayed in a cabin for five nights and didn't even sleep in it the last two nights because the roaches were so bad. The cabins are not worth 75 a night. Not even livable in my opinion.

Grant: I am so sorry that you had such a bad experience in one of our cabins. I very much wish that you had said something during your five day stay, so that we could have done something about it. We certainly had other cabins that we could have easily moved you to. The cabins are in the woods, so... More

We planned our vacation around this rafting trip. I have a 17 year old son that wanted to do something with activity. We were not disappointed. Our guide Danielle was the baby as guides go there and she handled the raft well. We enjoyed Bobbie so much getting to know her on the boat having lunch as we headed back... More

I have been on multiple whitewater trips with class V rapids, but the whole experience on this trip was the best. There were "extras" that the others did not offer: a CLOSE UP view of the Falls, multiple swimming holes, jumping off a rock, riding the same rapid multiple times, and the "opportunity" to flip the raft on purpose. The... More

Sheltowee is a great place to visit. We enjoyed the Level 3 whitewater rafting that ended with a riverboat ride with lunch. Papa Smurff, the owner, runs a well kept facility...very clean and very friendly. I would go back.

We chose the 11 mile kayak tour ( starting time 10:30, ending time 6:30) in early August. Highlights: a nice lazy pale down the river. Life jackets, kayaks, and paddles all in good condition. Easy registration and guidance on how to get to and from the launch site. Not over-complicated, which was nice. Wish I'd known: although start time is10:30,... More

We recently visited STAR (hey, I kinda like my new acronym) with a group of Boy Scouts in tow. We were there to complete the "High Adventure" requirement for several up and coming Eagle Scouts. We camped. Not my most favorite thing to do, but we did it. My campsite wasn't the greatest with a slight down hill slope. Thankfully... More

We used the shuttle service from Blue Heron to Station camp for 3 people and 3 kayaks. The reservation process was easy, and I particularly like that the payment process is separate from the reservation process, so credit card information doesnt need to be given over the phone. The shuttle driver was on time, courteous, safe, and very helpful!
