Not Smithsonian grade dioramas but done in similar style!

A blast from the past, a relic from 1969! What a treasure in a creepy, fun, interesting and unusual way!! An amazing collection, with a visit. Sadly many of the well done dioramas... read more

A blast from the past, a relic from 1969! What a treasure in a creepy, fun, interesting and unusual way!! An amazing collection, with a visit. Sadly many of the well done dioramas are in real disrepair! A entymologists dream come true bugs, insects and butterflies from around the world. Great for children, and cute tchotchkies and souvenir shop. A... More

My boyfriend liked this place a whole more than I did...I would have given it a 3 rating, but would have given it more than that, so that's why I'm giving it a 4. There were some interesting exhibits.

We showed up at 5:10 thinking they stayed open til 6. They actually closed at 5, but the lady working invited us in to see the museum anyway. The animal exhibits were really cool and my 3 year old son loved it. The staff was so nice and it was awesome that my son got to enjoy the museum. Thanks... More

you learn a lot about so many different types of animals. The building looks small but plan on lots of time to walk through.

This place doesn't look like much, but it really is nice. Lots of displays, excellent scenery and environment. Kids and I enjoyed it, only takes about an hour to go through museum and gift shop.

Truly great work done by this Museum to make around 100 animals look very life like. Its an impressive exhibit however the displays are cramped into a building that is way too small for you to truly enjoy the full beauty of the work. Since it is some small a display area that should take you over an hour to... More

The Mammoth Cave Wildlife Museum was almost like a museum of a museum. Most displays had been there for many years, and some insect and bird specimens were disintegrated or showing their age. There were several varieties of stuffed wolves, elk, bears, etc., and mounted insect varieties. It was an interesting experience at a reasonable price, with a pretty cool... More
