We arrived an hour and a half before closing and unfortunately, ran out of time to fully see and experience everything. If one is a Corvette or even an automobile enthusiast, this is a must-do. We were treated with discounted tickets because of some renovations going on. We thought this was very considerate since we weren't all that bothered by or even noticed much dust. The museum certainly made lemonade out of the lemons they were dealt when the sinkhole swallowed up several of their cars. The informational section explaining sinkholes, watching the security footage of it happening, to seeing the recovered cars was fascinating and frankly, probably our favorite part. The gift shop is quite extensive and the museum staff were friendly and welcoming. In sum, we enjoyed our visit and do recommend it to others.

The National Corvette Museum was a fascinating place! There is so much history on the Corvette, multiple models to see and learn about, and a great gift shop at the end. When we were there, new owners of the 2020 mid-engine came in to pick up their cars. Imagine our surprise to see them start up these beauties, and drive off, through a crowd of excited; applauding museum visitors! If you like Corvettes, or enjoy learning the history of cars, races, etc.... don’t miss this place!!

We visited the museum as not huge fans and enjoyed the cars and exhibits.

My son liked the driving simulator ($10) and the highlight was the sinkhole markings and cars they did not decide to repair.

The Rat Fink exhibits were an added bonus. Sounds like displays change over time.

Museum tour takes roughly an hour, great stop with kids to view some cool cars and stretch your legs. Not overly expensive, and has a nice gift shop and clean restrooms. The Cafe has decent food, and is fairly quick. Would definitely recommend stopping in and checking it out if you are driving up or down 65 through Bowling Green.

My father is a Corvette fan, but I was never bitten by the bug. However, I jumped at the chance to visit the museum. It was full of fun facts about the design and creation of the original generation. The cars on display were also interesting, but the best examples were the concept cars. There is a fun area that talks about the sinkhole incident, which kids might enjoy. We did not try the restaurant, but the gift shop was pretty substantial.

My favorite part, however, was the delivery area where new Corvettes were lined up waiting for their new owners to arrive. They even had little menu boards next to each car that announced the name of the new owners. It was a very nice production and I felt a little jealous -- these were the new mid-engine models and they were automotive rockstars.

My son and I traveled in our first caravan from Florida to the museum’s 25th anniversary August 2019. Had a great visit, seeing the cars, exhibits, and patrons. People were really friendly, and even though crowded, it was awesome. Wanted to revisit the next day, but a CAT 5 was heading towards our home, so we had to cut visit short.

It’s nice to go to a museum post covid and see no big difference. The displays themselves are fantastic. The C8 vette is unreal. Great history and progression of the car complete with a short video in the theatre. The sinkhole display is sweet with all 8 cars on their own display. Gift shop was nice and the price of admission is well worth it.

The national Corvette Museum is located right off of the Interstate and offers a look at the classic American Sports Car. The museum offers visitors glances back in time with exhibits demonstrating the timeline of the corvette all the way up to todays C8 Corvette. There is also a section about the sinkhole event that occurred several years back damaging the classic cars.

My nephew is crazy for sports cars so I thought he would enjoy the museum and he did. Surprisingly I did also. My six year old niece enjoyed it too. The sinkhole exhibit was a big hit and the virtual car ride was their favorite part.

They offer guided tours twice a day and it is worth it. Just be sure you get there in enough time before or after the tour to watch the 15 minute video which is not part of the guided tour. The employees there weren't very helpful and we had to figure this out on our own. I wish they would have been more informative so we could have watched the full video before beginning the tour. The interactive simulated drive was enjoyable for my 14 year old. Paulette was a great tour guide. She added a lot of local flavor you would have missed by doing the self-guided tour.
