If you are planning a trip to Berea make sure to stop at the welcome center located in Old Town Berea. The employees are eager and willing to give you all the info you need to get the most out of your visit and it's a quaint little center that has lots to see.

We stopped to get a bit of information. It was Mother's Day and the delightful lady that was there gave us so much information about the area including Berea College. The center is housed in the old train station that will be celebrating 100 years in June. It has been renovated, but the interior is almost like it was when... More

Stopped in to see the old train depot, the gal at the desk was more than helpful, had all kinds of information about the area. The building has been re-done and is simply gorgeous and full of historical pics and items. Great for folks of all ages!

We stopped at the center to use the restroom then browsed the displays. We picked up some travel information and maps. It is a nice stop in town, clean, and friendly.

The Berea Welcome Center is a former train station that has been returned to its former glory. The integrity of the building has been preserved; it's beautiful: gleaming hardwood floors, expansive windows, and spacious areas. Plenty of brochures and pamphlets detail the things that can be experienced in Berea; the staff at the desk was able to further guide us... More

What can one say about a welcome center.....they were very friendly, had all of the answers and knew the area very well. Plenty of literature for the places to see in the area and good discussion about the college and history of Berea!

There's not much to see or do here. If you enjoy reading about history, you may enjoy it more that we did.
