We did the $20 tasting and enjoyed them all! I even likes the "Bad Bourbon". And it was just down the street from our campgrounds for the weekend.

This was an excellent visit. The tour with the Boubon lecture and tastings by Herb our guide was informative, fun, and a great way to begin the day at 10:30AM! We tasted five extraordinary bourbons both straight and with drops of water. The exhibits were...More

Heaven Hill is the last great family owned major distilleries. You will be amazed by all the bourbon memorabilia and rich history in the place. Personally heaven products are my favorite products. Elijah Craig 12yr is a complete bourbon. The Evan Williams single barrel is...More

The Heaven Hill Heritage Center is the best!! They are located close to the town of Bardstown and a treasure! It's a classy, upscale visit to find out the history of bourbon making and history. One of the last "family owned" distilleries in the industry!!...More

Very interesting and informative tour. It is not a full distillery tour as there is only ageing and bottling going on at this site. The distilling portion of the tour is pretty boring. Sampling was nothing special other than the instruction. Learned a new trick...More

A bit different than the other two visits in Bardstown. We've seen the HH distillery Louisville as part of the Evan Williams Experience, and were visiting Barton and Willett here. So we opted for a tasting/tour here since we'd see production and rickhouses at the...More

We had a very informative guide. He was very proud to work for the company. I will say this tour was more like a museum than the traditional distillery tour. They have spent a great deal of money on the history, gift shop, and tasting...More

We booked the $20/person tour thinking it would involve more than a PowerPoint presentation on the history of the distilled and four bourbons that were just ok. I would say to save your money and head to makers mark or Jim Beam for a much...More

We did the Whiskey Connoisseur Experience at the Heaven Hill Bourbon Heritage Center. There were four of us and we were the only ones in our time slot. For $20, we were given an overview of the distillery and the process. Then we tasted five...More

This depends on what you are looking for. If you want to go to a Rickhouse, then the Heritage Center is the place (not to mention that the tasting afterwards is in a cool looking room). If you are interested in the history... More
