The staff was SO friendly and helpful. Our kids had a great time. Kind of pricey but well worth it during our vacation. The facility was VERY clean and the coaches were obviously well trained and really good with children.

If you are looking for a fun activity to do with your grands, this is it. Get the back to back deal. The first round is just a little short, but the second is the closer. Have fun!

While visiting my kids in Kansas City I noticed this iFLY building next to my hotel (Drury Inn - love the place). Out of curiosity I went in to explore. Liked it and bought 5 adult tickets to use the next day. Three of the five decided not to go.... big mistake!!
So only my son and I went and used their tickets so we got extra time. WOW! It was a blast! I can see how some of the “flyers” there take lessons on a regular basis and get better and better. The instructors can do some amazing acrobatics, quite impressive. Give it a shot!

I took my two teenage foreign exchange students. While they had a pretty good time, and we even had a voucher that I got at a silent auction, I thought that the short Flight time was prohibitively expensive, and then the guys asked for tips

I am in my 40's and we had a girls day out at IFLY. My girlfriend bought the package at Costco and it was such a fun experience. We went through flight school with an engaging instructor and purchased the $10 upgrade to go up the tunnel and circle back down. After our group was finished the very talented instructor put on a performance that blew us away (see what I did there). After the experience was over, we were able to buy flights for our husbands at a reduced rate. The Costco package and the package we bought for the guys were fitting for a group of 5). P.S. If you scream in the tunnel you can be heard!

I’ve never done skydiving (indoor or outdoor) before and am afraid of strong g-force. Can’t even ride roller coasters. This was an amazing experience. I chose two flights and added the high flying option at the counter. Our instructor was awesome. I was wearing sandals. He gave me sneakers to change into. When we’re in the wind tunnel, he gave out clear hand gestures and tried to let us fly without holding on the whole time. I was nervous about flying high but it was OK. Of course I screamed, but the g-force wasn’t terrible. I had so much fun. His demo at the end was really cool.

It's my wife's birthday and I didn't have a clue on what to do for her. What do you give the woman who you've given everything to for over 20 years? You take her indoor skydiving. We had a blast. It took me awhile to get my head wrapped around the concept, but my wife, who's celebrating her 69th year, picked up on what to do and how to enjoy herself right away. The instructor was great, as well as the rest of the staff. It was a great and enjoyable experience.

We reserved by phone and were told to arrive one hour in advance. It took about 20 minutes to check in because most of the kiosks weren't working. After check-in, they ask you if you want to pay an additional $10 for a "high flight". This wasn't mentioned on the web site, so we said no. The employee then told us to go sit and wait for our group to be called, then come back if we'd like to purchase it. It became obvious by watching others that we would only be 2 feet off the ground unless we paid for the "high flight", so we felt like we pretty much had to do it. This is pretty sneaky if you ask me. They should be more up-front about that. It's extremely expensive to start with, so I guess they know it will deter customers.

When our group was called, our instructor (Raleigh Spahn) was very personable and enthusiastic. He showed us a short film and then reviewed the instructions with us. It was pretty quick - about 10 minutes, but it was sufficient. He then provided jumpsuits, helmets and earplugs. The jump suits have handles on them that the instructors utilize.

We were all led into the chamber, and went in one-by-one for our flights. I have jumped out of a plane before, and this is much easier. There isn't nearly as much wind resistance and no wind sheer. Each "flight" is only one minute long unless you pay more for a longer flight. Everyone in our group was able to "balance" and "fly" on their own for at least a few seconds. As Raleigh was directing me to the exit, he spun me in a circle. This reminded me that going in a circle gives me terrible motion sickness.

For the second round of flights that included "high flights" where they take you up about 20 feet, Raleigh turned everyone over to a second instructor. I guess he didn't have enough hours yet to qualify for the high flight with customers. As I watched each person go up and spin in circles, I knew this was a bad idea for me. I told Raleigh it would make me sick and asked if I could avoid spinning in circles. He made the signs to the other instructor not to spin me. I didn't enjoy the high flight because I felt like I was going to flip over the entire time (the instructor hangs onto one side of you. Adding 150+ pounds to someone who weighs 115 results in quite an imbalance). Also, I could feel my nose running but knew I couldn't move my hands to stop it. I did end up spinning a couple times at the end, and I just about fell over when I was back on the ground.

When I reviewed the video, he spun me much less than I thought - only about one rotation. It was probably unavoidable with all that wind. Motion sickness is not mentioned as a possible risk on their website or literature, so I recommend that anyone that has problems with it to avoid this activity.

After everyone's flight, the instructors show off and fly like superman, etc. The video quality is very good, and you get to choose between two videos (one for each flight). One of two video kiosks wasn't working.

I give them a 4 for the overall skydiving experience, the employee enthusiasm and professionalism. I can't do 5 due to the sneaky pricing and the bugs that still need to be worked out in their systems - they had not yet had their grand opening. I would also suggest waiting for a Groupon or Living Social deal to make this a more affordable activity.
