Frankly, even though the price of admission is fairly low, the flower garden is on the small side and probably not worth it. Lots of trails for hiking, I'd just go elsewhere to satisfy your botanical interests.

The flowers and trees were lovely and they were identified well. Loved the pond with the enormous koi! We surprised a heron and enjoyed watching the turtles sun themselves. We also loved the statues and a tiny tree frog 🐸 surprised us🤗

I lived about 20 minutes from the Arboretum for 6 years and never bothered to go. When I finally did, I regretted I didn't check it out sooner. The manicured paths around the pond are beautiful, but the real treasure is the miles of hiking...More

Walking through wooded areas, trails with statues to the pond and watching the fish were all remarkable and relaxing. The fee to enter is encouraging and all families should visit the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens - there is something for everyone to enjoy.

My husband and daughter and I drove there on a Sunday morning. There is plenty of parking but if it got really busy the parking lot would not be big enough. First time there and the flowers and gardens are kept up very well. $3...More

A beautiful place to visit and enjoy the day walking the paths among nature and art work. A great place to bring children or taking a romantic walk.

Enjoyed roaming the trails with my husband and our dog. We went on a weekday while schools were in session and I don't know if we even saw 5 other people. The trails were well maintained and some of the art is great.

I took some of my grandchildren to see the Fairy Houses and Gnomes. Had a nice walk and enjoyed the paths. We look forward to going back soon!

Yes it's as you come in, in the back of the nature center. I've never eaten there yet they do sell veggies and flowers to plant in your yard and the prices are extremely cheap compared to the garden stores.

You can find the Overland Park Arboretum on Facebook. I believe you can also do a web search for them and get the info there. I get emails from them a lot, but don't remember getting one so far about wine tasting. Maybe a... More
