Fun little zoo

This is a real fun small zoo. Definitely worth the price. My 5yr old loved all the peacocks that are running around free.

We had friends with small children visit us for Thanksgiving. Our outing to the zoo was very enjoyable. There was a wide variety of interesting animals to see in pleasing habitats.

The Sunset Zoo is a compact but comprehensive presentation of exotic and more familiar specimens ranging from beautiful Bengal Tigers to a flock of Peacocks (and Peahens) that roam through the park along with you. I just spent a cold afternoon there with an 8-year old and a 10-year old who live in a bigger city with a much bigger... More

Was great my daughter and grandaughter loved it. It was a nice sunny day and she loved the monkeys. Birds, turtles she liked as well. A great staff and loved the gift shop.

This is a great zoo for the Manhattan area. It doesn't compare to the big zoo's but that's because it's not as big as them but they have a great location and lots of animals. If you have never been you should definitely go check it out! They also have a fantastic learning center and banquet area.

It is a small, but nicely done zoo. The animals all seem well cared for, and it probably doesn’t hurt that the K-State College of Veterinary Medicine is just down the road. Admission is currently $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children between the ages of 3 and 12. There is no fee for children younger than three, and there... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our Halloween outing at Sunset Zoo. What a gift to the Manhattan community this zoo is. We were visiting our military kids from Kentucky, but highly recommend this as one of your stops when you're in the area.

This is a great small zoo that has varied terrain and shady areas if sun and heat are a concern. It has a good selection of animals and is not too big for families with small children for an outing. Several of the exhibits have been updated to show off new animals from different elevations! Great small zoo!

Small town zoo that is continually improving. Several events through the year make for special visits. My kids loved it while little and still do as adults. Good variety of well cared for animals.

The walk through the zoo is quite nice. Plenty of enjoyment. I recommend good walking shoes and, if you have very little ones, a stroller is a good idea.
