When near home or traveling we always enjoy dining in local establishments and avoid chain restaurants. Mass street has an abundance of local restaurants!! You can also enjoy street performers and local places to shop.

The main street of a major university will produce all types of people. Good places to shop and eat. Make sure you plug that meter because the parking police are out in full force.

I've been coming here for over 50 years. There is literally something for everybody. Brewery, excellent food, coffee shops, shopping for everybody, barber shops, old fashioned hardware store......

Really a fun & lively street to explore. Lots of restaurants, shopping, people, street performers! Some panhandlers as well, so be warned.

I live in Lawrence and try not to shop on Massachusetts. You have to pay to park. It should be free since you are going there to spend money. I only go if friends or family are in town visiting.
