The Cosmosphere is a great time for the whole family. Except for the Smithsonian, you're not going to find a more high caliber museum for space history and artifacts. It covers the whole story of the journey to space. The also have an IMAX theater. The cosmosphere also offers camps to school age children. A high-quality edutainment experience.

Have a fun and educational visit! Goddard' Lab was my favorite. If every science teacher was as dynamic, we would all be scientists.

Spent 3 hours absorbing all the information and history about the Space Program. Excellent displays and chronological development of Space Program. Gave context of world events at the time. I have been to Kennedy Space Center in Florida and found this exhibit more absorbing and educational. You will not be disappointed. I did not see the movie, just the museum.

Growing up in Wichita, the Cosmosphere was always a favorite field trip destination. As an adult, it's still pretty cool! There is a TON of information and a lot of reading to do so if you're like me and don't like to miss anything, be prepared for a few hours of reading. The artifacts are interesting but not too many... More

The Cosmosphere is definitely the best museum/attraction in Kansas. In fact, it's one of my favorite museums in the US. For a remote small town this is an amazing place. If you are into anything space or history related this place is a must visit. Seeing all the Apollo and old Soviet artifacts is great. The history aspect is also... More

We've been here several times and have been through the museum but our main reason for coming is to see the documentaries in the Imax theater. This is definitely a great place for a field trip or any other education purpose.

We visit every year with the Scout troop. The museum is a history lesson that starts with the beginning of our space program and leads up to where we are today. We get the day pass which includes the movie, museum, planetarium and Dr. Goddards lab.
