About
Kennedy Point Vineyard Celebrating our 21st birthday in 2017, Kennedy Point is still the only certified organic vineyard on Waiheke Island. Wild yeast coming in with the harvest helps ensure our small batch, basket pressed wines truly reflect the unique beauty of our island paradise. Our mission is to take gentle care of this beautiful land to allow healthy vines to produce amazing wines. Our world famous Syrah is the obvious star of our cellar door but there are plenty of unsung heroes as well including the exquisitely crafted Cuvee Eve Chardonnay. The Cabernet Franc and Malbec are also worth visiting for. We only make those two if the year has been exceptional. Open every day from 11am to 4pm for lunch and tastings of our organic wine, olive and avocado oils and our Manuka and Pohutukawa honey.

Loved the welcoming staff ,the food and the wine .This is just what I wanted from Waiheke .Excellent and highly recommend for a true Waiheke experience without the silliness of city style wineries and all the pretentious they attract .

We had no idea about this place, it was part of a recommendation from Nikki @Waiheke tours. This place was just stunning, Peter was gorgeous ...loved the genuine, knowledgeable and friendly experience. You experience all that's great about their stunning location, excellent wines, HONEY, Olive oil and Avacado oil. This vineyard understands its unique relationship to the island and to their land and nature. You get a sense of their connection and history to the Hauraki Gulf. Thank you for a beautiful morning

Very enjoyable tour taken by a very knowledgeable and passionate host. He made us all feel very welcome and had a great personality. He had a huge amount of knowledge about wines and Waiheke Island. A must on anyone’s wine tour.

Wine is terrible and management is awful.

Unfortunately the manager of this Vineyard believes that he can treat people with lack of professionalism and absolute arrogance.

Will never go back and will make sure to research the winery before visiting next time.

Waiheke has plenty of amazing spots to visit and people are usually nice but people like this person just damages the reputation of the island.

There is plenty of proper wineries on Waiheke Island to choose from and Kennedy Point is NOT one of them.

Kennedy Point Vineyard and Winery is a small organic vineyard hidden away amongst the trees on Waiheke Island. Geoff from Waiheke Custom Wine Tours took us there. We had a great experience tasting some wonderful wines. Don’t forget to have a Sauvignon Blanc oyster shooter, they are a must!!!

We visited Kennedy Point as part of our Waiheke Island Wine Tour and sampled what I can only describe as some of the best white wine we've every tasted. They gave us six superb samples to try, which was washed down with fine slivers of their bread and their homemade oils, including avocado oil. The whole experience was breathtaking and a tremendous start to our 'day of New Zealand/Waiheke wines'. Whether taken in as part of a larger tour or just visiting off the cuff, Kennedy Point is well worth stopping at - it's heaven in a glass!!

Our visit was part of a small tour. Peter the owner greeted us and his knowledge and enthusiasm was obvious from the start. We tasted a few wines, were shown the vineyard and the oak barrels - it all is run with great care.
My wife and I walked away with a super bottle of wine which lasted less than 6 hours from leaving.
Well worth a visit.

Lovely location with beautiful grounds. We enjoy the quaint wineries as opposed to the larger production style. Staff was very friendly and gave us tips for our own winery we have in Colorado.

We were welcomed in by Peter who gave us a great wine tasting experience and a fabulous tour around his vineyard. The wines were lovely and organic too which was a real bonus. Not only were we able to try the wine but they also have oil and honey too. Oh and we couldn't leave without trying their 'famous' oyster shots which we had heard so much about - they were amazing!! A beautiful picnic area to sit and relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings and sea views with your glass of wine!

We called in for a light lunchtime snack. The wine tasting was free in the first weekend as we moved into Covid level 2. 4 types of platter were available. We enjoyed the charcuterie one which was generous and more than sufficient for 2 people. The Vineyard also offers olive oil, avocado oil, and honey.
