I would say that the main attraction of this place is the Barraca do Joao Maria where you can have fun plunging into the water from a slide or chairlift. There is a restaurant. Try the lobster skewer!! Very popular among tourists.

This beach is beautiful with interesting rock formations, waves big enough for some surfing and very few people on it. It's a great place to take a morning walk and there are plenty of areas suitable for swimming or playing in the surf. I was amazed at how solitary it was; one morning my husband and I saw only one other person and his 2 dogs. Parts of the beach have vendors selling drinks and putting up umbrellas but not many and mostly on the weekend. The landscape is stunning. I definitely recommend it and can't wait to get back to our little apartment 4 minutes from this beach.

A stop on the tour of the Genipabu dunes. It has a shallow, freshwater lagoon with hammocks, 30 meters from the sea. There is a bar that serves snacks, juices and drinks. At the end of the tour we went to Restaurante Paraiso, which is a great restaurant, with fair prices.
