It's about a 10 mile span from Lucy Maud Montgomery's birthplace to her grave with museums and interesting sites in between or nearby. The birthplace is nicely preserved and probably a stop that isn't on the typical bus tour.

A replica of her wedding dress, actual shoes, many family photos, pages from her scrapbook, and the best part, interesting tidbits from our excellent guide, Brenda. The midwife who delivered Maud lived in the charming yellow house across the street.

The house is very tiny and a bit hard to move around in because there are so many people visiting. It costs about 5$ entrance fee. The woman who spent time sharing history about the home was very sweet. Please leave time to visit the...More
