Buffalo Billius and just plain Bill

Interesting time capsule to visit, especially if you are Cody fans. Reasonably priced and very tidy. Authentically decorated to look period. Small gift shop.

We happened to see a sign for Buffalo Bill Cody's Homestead. It's about 10 miles off the main road, so decided to check it out. It cost $2 to go through the house. The furniture looks like it's maybe original from the time. It has some steep stairs to get to and from the second floor. My husband is handicapped,... More

This is not too far out of the way, and you might even see the bison in its shed if your timing is right. Good history lesson for the... More

I wasn't pleased that a mobile home and garage had been moved on site. The old house looked the same but the area seemed changed.

A nice little day trip for Buffalo Bill enthusiasts. There is also a church in the area where Buffalo Bill's brother is burried.

My son had a school project on Buffalo Bill. They staff spent time with him answering his questions and showing him around. Thanks!
