This renovated hotel is the only one left in the world designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. It has tons of charm, and the rooms were comfortable, although a little on the small side. Ask for a 3rd floor room, as there is quite a bit...More

The Frank Lloyd Wright restored hotel is a a gem. It is a pleasure to just wander the hotel and tours are also available. We stayed in the historic room and it was a step into the past except it has all the modern conveniences....More

We didn't stay here but enjoyed walking through this restored Frank Lloyd Wright designed hotel. Frank Lloyd Wright's genius is immediately obvious. I understand the rates are reasonable and there is a high demand for rooms.

The building is a classic and the folks are friendly in the Mid Western tradition. And the restaurant in the hotel is the BEST meal I have had. Maybe ever. Go even if you have to go out of your way.

My husband treated me to a night's stay for my birthday. The attached restaurant (1910 Grill/Grillé) is extraordinarily delightful, the food cooked so nicely and presented so well, and the service including the docents were bonuses! The architecture is non-pareil and must be seen by...More

This hotel is a wonderful part of history whether a Frank Lloyd Wright fan or not. It is beautifully restored and maintained. Things that can be problematic for guests in old buildings are not an issue here: water pressure is good, water is hot, noise...More
