The city had the park closed for months. When they opened it up, the local reviews were not good. My wife wouldn't comment but encouraged me to go take a look. They put 3X the amount of wooden fences required which make the whole place...More

While Highlands Ranch has sprawled up on one side of the bluff and Castle Pines on the other, the feeling of openness given the Park, Community Association trails, the buffalo ranch and Castle Pines golf course really opens up the area for a walk with...More

It's fun to live close to "remote" places with trails, cliffs and dirt roads. So here comes "progress" and the dirt road gets paved, the cliffs get fenced but they can't stop the views! We've been visiting this place for over 12 years and it's...More

As mentioned by many people the views are incredible. You can see from Pikes peak to the South to Longs Peak to the North. Rated average though as the park appears heavily used, shows signs of heavy vandalism and little upkeep. Buffalo enclosure across the...More

Stop there right before sunset for amazing views. Bring a camera, have family photos taken there or just sit and relax.

The park has amazing peak to peak views and is a great place to walk around. Drive, walk or bike there with a picnic lunch or dinner for a nice outing. There is also usually lots of bison in the area to view.

Great views! Many trails to hike. Close to Denver, you can actually see the city skyline way off in the distance. Great place for family photos.

You can only go to the lookout. The paving operations and changes they made to the park are pretty much a big eye sore. Still a great place to view the sunset.

They move around on a rather large property within the Park. The main road is closed right now as they are paving the dirt road and putting in a new parking lot. Think it will be done by Spring.
