A picturesque campus with the Iowa River running through the middle. A great public school education with students from everywhere. Come root for the Hawkeyes and Kinnick Stadium or take in the basketball teams at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Enjoy a picnic lunch down by the student...More

We went on our first college visit with our son. VERY impressed with this campus. Large enough to offer so much for the students but compact enough to not feel overwhelming. We were lucky to schedule our visit on a beautifully unseasonably warm February day....More

As a graduate of Iowa twice, one of the best big colleges in the country. Many degree options. Great atmosphere in the fall season.

Easy to get around, safe and don't believe all the hype about it being a party school as the quality of academics is top notch here.

The campus is beautiful. The atmosphere is energetic. The people are friendly. Love how the campus is right next to pedestrian friendly Iowa City.

Definitely not a town=gown lay out. just integrated buildings within the town aside from the pentacrest. Student Union is pretty plain.
