It's a great relaxing day to ride your bike or just relax, but the lake is typically not swimable due to high levels of stuff in it!

Lovely state park, with a small lake. There is a swimming are and some hiking trails. The camping is quiet during the week.

Campground is very well kept. Hosts are excellent. Beach area could be cleaned up. Geese seem to be the problem. DNR could put something like I've seen other lakes, a fake alligator to keep the geese away from the public area.
