Thanks, the power comes from the batteries and I don't know if there is enough charge in the batteries to run an electrical device for 8 hours while the motor is off. Or how many hours it takes to recharge them. I have... More

Just re-read your question, if only for a day then you are not going to get very far - I would ask the boat yard, but my guess would be to go away from Chester.
