A restored and operational water mill. This historical building is open every Sunday afternoon 1-5pm from March to 26th October (BST).

A tour of the mill lasts around 40 minutes and takes you on a victorian journey, from the arrival of the wheat to the sacking of the flour. On the way you will be able to operate the 200 year old machinery and even start up the ten ton water wheel.

We also have a tea room and beautiful wildlife rich grounds, as well as a fantastic dipping pond.

Fabulous must see Mill in Cheshire. Great Coffee shop too for all refreshment needs, a home made cake and cup of tea while feeding the ducks in the pond. (River) Tours cheap and very informative Barry was a chirpy chap and great fun telling us all the history of Banbury Mill. How it started and how it was saved. Flour... More

A really nice little find, and a great way to spend an hour or two in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Run entirely by people from Bunbury Village, this small working historic flour mill and adjoining tea room was a real surprise. We've lived in Cheshire for many years, but never thought to visit before. We checked online before... More

We have often passed the signs for Bunbury Mill but normally we are busy driving to/from home - this weekend we passed but with a little time on our hands we turned off and followed the brown signs - it was a little further than we guessed off the main road - just keep going until you reach the mill... We had looked on the Bunbury Mill website which advised it was open only Sundays and Bank Holidays. Looking forward to visiting and enjoying tea and cake on Good Friday (Bank Holiday), having walked up from the Shropshire canal only to find it closed. Very disappointing.

Found this lovely place today Sunday 9th April, we were looking for somewhere for coffee and the cakes looked so good had cake too all seated beside a lovely lake. The cakes (home made) and drinks were delicious and I would recommend them. We didn't do the Mill tour but will pop back again and do the tour and have... More

A lovely old mill powerd by water, interesting tour by enthusiastic volunteers, very interesting watching the whole milling process and flour making by harnessing the local river, nice cafe with homemade treats for a relax afterwards, limited parking on site so better to arrive on time, well worth a visit if in the area!

We visited Bunbury Mill on Sunday after a nice long walk around the area. We were all charmed by the place and especially the warmth and enthusiasm of the tour guide, Peter. So glad we went.

Hidden away, but easy to find off the A51. What a delightful place. Open on sundays and bank holidays during the summer. The water mill is really small and compact but is fully functional and sells the flour it grinds in the shop. For £3.50 you can take a guided tour all done by volunteers. our guide Peter was very... This place is tucked away but it is an excellent find and run completely by volunteers. The tour is only £3.50 and we were taken round by the lovely and enthusiastic guide Peter. You got to see everything of the watermill and also take part in activities- lots of fun and definitely one for the kids! There is a cafe... More
