Is this Heaven? No, it’s Iowa. A place of fertile soil, traditional values and simple pleasure. And, in Dyersville, Iowa, at the century-old Lansing family farm with its quaint, and oh-so-recognizable house, baseball still ranks as a favorite pastime for all ages. What better place to carve a baseball diamond from a corn field and to make a movie about pursuing one’s dream, no matter how much effort it takes? For the first time in history, the Field of Dreams farm house is open to the public with purchase of timed tour tickets via our website.

Very interesting home tour. Enjoyed hearing all the "behind the scenes" activity. It is in my "must watch again" list! Just being there was exciting. Peaceful countryside.

My wife and are big FOD movie fans so we were excited to see this place. It was just as cool as we expected as we could walk the field, disappear into the corn, and sit on the actual movie bleachers. All at no charge!...More

Dave, thank you for your feedback. We greatly appreciate it! It's our dream to build a gift store with indoor bathrooms, a small cafe and, yes, air conditioning! We are working toward that. Adding photos from the filming and renovation should be a snap. We'll...More
