And a good little history tour, if you have time stop and take in the sights. We sat for a while and saw many large birds.

Kind of a pain to get to but a nice area with many hiking trails, along with a nice view of Dubuque and the Mississippi. Kind of one of those spots where you can say that "you've been there"

By going to this area we were able to have a beautiful view of the Mississippi plus we were able to see tugboats and the great-grandchildren really enjoyed that.

While visiting family in Platteville, my husband and I decided to find some hiking trails to the check out...so glad we found these. Quiet, scenic, and some, somewhat rugged...which we like.

The views of the river are wonderful. Learn a little history while you're there. There is plenty of parking and areas for a picnic. Enjoyable for all ages.
