This is an aquarium, museum, nature preserve, and children's "museum" all in one with great exhibits for kids and adults. Impressive aquarium exhibits with interactive sections-touch the stingrays, touch a crawfish, computer/tablet displays. My 7 year old was fully engaged. The museum piece has indoor...More

Toady I visited the museum with a friend. This time to see Dinosaors Unearthed. It was a very well done, which is normal for this faculity, as I've said before its first class. Since I am not a member, the cost including Unearthed was reasonable...More

We visited Dubuque mainly because of this museum as it had the traveling Titanic exhibit there. Will definitely go back again to spend more time in some of the other areas. My grands loved (& were surprised) by all of the fish found in the...More

We went with young children and teenagers. We saw the 40 minute movie and thought two hours is plenty for the entire museum. We also did the dinosaur exhibit which takes about 10 minutes total. But worth it.

Really surprised by the quality of this museum. It had an interactive area for the kids, great aquariums (6 I think) spread out around the exhibit areas. Worth the time and cost.

Three to four hours should be enough, but you may want to stay longer, Your ticket is good for two consecutive days.

I go not recall exactly but there were multiple prices based on seeing the movie they offer or just reviewing the museum. I think about $15. Enjoy!
