No trip to Dubuque is complete without a stop here. Allow at least a half a day to experience this first-class museum. It's amazing that a city the size of Dubuque has a museum of this quality.

This museum and aquatics center is very impressive and quite hands-on. Petting the sting-rays was very cool. Good for families and adults alike. We went there expressly to see the 4D Nat'l Geo film of Lewis & Clark and it was phenomenal.

Kids loved the aquarium with the big/colorful tanks. There were hands on things for them which is always a plus! They were a bit too young or the museum.

There is a lot of info on the animals of the Mississippi River and the history of the steam boats. They even have hands on exhibits. You can touch stingrays and they even give you a chance to fed them!

Went several years ago with a couple of friends. Found it clean and interesting. I had to say Dec. 2016 because that's as far back as the option goes.

I go not recall exactly but there were multiple prices based on seeing the movie they offer or just reviewing the museum. I think about $15. Enjoy!
